Book: Read any fiction/non-fiction about tolerance or a book that’s outside your normal comfort zone. (Tolerance can encompass anything you generally struggle with, be it sentient or not.) OR Read a book set in Paris.
Just Mercy is a book by Bryan Stevenson, a lawyer who works to help those most hurt by the failures in the justice system. He details some of the many terrible injustices he has come across during his career and advocates for tolerance and understanding for the people who have been caught up in terrible situations and failed repeatedly by everyone around them. I'm using it for this square.
