Task 1:  What was your favorite children’s book growing up? Your favorite middle grade book?

I'm not sure these were my absolute favorite books when I was a kid, but they're the ones that came to mind when I read the questions. I know I had my mom read Goodnight Moon to me a lot when I was a kid. Once I was able to read myself, I started reading everything I could get my hands on. Eventually, one of those books was The Westing Game. I would end up rereading that one many times. I adored both of these books.
