Despite my dislike of several of the main characters (mainly John and Sarah), I still enjoy the series, and this book was no different. There wasn't as much focus on Six as I would have liked, but the scenes involving Marina, Eight, Nine, and Ella made up for that in this book. They had some great bonding moments as they grew as a team. I was surprised to find myself disliking Sam for part of the book since I had liked him in the previous books. Luckily, it was only during a few of his POV chapters in the middle of the book. By the end, I was back to liking him. Despite my short frustration with Sam and my continuing frustration with John and Sarah, I liked the book and look forward to the next one.
