Emerjas

I find myself liking this series less and less with every volume, which is disappointing. I love Wonder Woman and Greek mythology, so this book should be perfect for me. And the series did start out well too. It's just that each volume seems to bring something new that I don't like. I don't like Wonder Woman's origin in this. I don't like what has been done with the Amazons, both in terms of how they get kids and with the fact that they're all statues right now. And I don't like Orion slapping Wonder Woman's ass, and her reaction of turning around to yell at him getting cut off by someone else almost immediately, and then the whole thing just being dropped. Those are the big things for me.

I do like quite a few of the takes on the Greek gods here, and all the drama that they have is interesting. It's just not enough to offset the growing list of things I dislike.
